Two new exhibitions, featuring the work of Atomic Photographers Guild Advisory Board member, elin o’Hara slavick, are coming soon to the Cerritos College Art Gallery, Norwalk, California.
The Main Gallery and Window will display “Atomic Index,” showcasing work from elin o’Hara slavick’s recent residency at CalTech, includes 528 chemical drawings representing the 528 known above-ground nuclear explosions since 1945.
In the Projects Room, “Cases of Exposure” showcases the debut of the collective SWANS (Slow War Against the Nuclear State), including work by members Nancy Buchanan, Judith Dancoff, Jane Chang Mi, Hillary Mushkin, Sheila Pinkel, elin o’Hara slavick, and Lucy HG Solomon (Cesar & Lois).
