Whitworth University has acquired fourteen silver gelatin prints by APG member Harley Cowan. These prints, part of the series “Manhattan Project“, will be added to the University’s permanent collection.
“Manhattan Project” documents the historic Hanford B Reactor and environs, captured using a SINAR 4″x5″ camera on analog black and white film. This medium was used to satisfy the strict archival standards mandated by the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) as part of the Heritage Documentation Program, under which Mr. Cowan recorded the site.
